Well last night I was heading to my brothers restaurant in my Cherokee when I realized that the heater was blowing cold air and my temp gauge was maxing out. Oh crap. There goes the thermostat. I went home later that night and went to bed thinking about fixing it today. Matt calls me in the morning and asks if I could come in to work. No problem. I'll just drive the Wrangler. I turn on to 43 when I notice a funny smell. I didnt think anything of it and went on into work. I got my Boggers rotated while I was there. Well after it was in the air we noticed that BOTH hubs were pretty much toast and I need brakes. We popped the hood and the belt is halfway destroyed from the tensioner pulley being desintegrated. Smell identified.
I put a new thermostat in the Cherokee so at least one is up and running. My Jeeps need to realize that I am not made of money and I'm not here to baby them. It's about time they started taking care of themselves for a change.
