Trail Rig

I am toying with taking the tags off my 98 TJ and more importantly dropping the insurance ($875 year). I rarely drive it on the road, I use my VW to commute to work. (35 miles one way) I have a truck to pull a trail rig just need to get a better trailer. I would also still drive the jeep around the farm. Just looking for any input that you guys have pros and cons of having a trail only TJ. (i will only wheel 4 or 5 times a year)

did that with my CJ and don't regret it. Just there are some places you can't go weeling where you need taged Jeep. you always have to check that before you go to a differant place

Thats what I am going to do. The Cash I will save will probably get spent on upgrades....so in the end I will spend more money.
