Black Mountain in Harlan,KY

CamoK5 made reservations last night for Black Mountain in Harlan,KY. Paul T. and I are headed down on April 8-12. If anyone would like to join us here is the campground link, it is located right on a trail head. It is about a 9hr drive from White Marsh.

I have bought a map for the place I don't have it on a electronic copy. If you coming to the meeting next week I can bring it with me. If your worry about how hard core the place is. there is alot of the blue type trails there. Yes the are some real extreme trails also. From where we are camping we have to travel a green and blue trail to get to most of the other trails. This place is huge!! We will running the green and blues trail there.

Would we be able to jump on your reservation or need to reserve additional space now...

Do you mean that you would be wanting to run blues and greens through the park? I may bring the more streetable rig... Go for the cushy ride to/from.

Yes I would make an additional reservation, we are doing the primitive camping, I think it is $5 or $10 a night. Check out the page below. We will have a map with us at the meeting on Sunday.

went over the last little things today on the CJ and it's ready for Harlan Ky. All I have to do is load it on the trailer. This is going to be a great trip.
