| We had a real good turn out for the Club ride today. Jimmy(CrazyJimmy) Liz(Jedimonkey) her boyfriend Eric Tim(Shaggy) Matt(Upnover) Chris(Gratetful red) Jason(jnjstj) Tom(FalstonYJ) Dave(chefdab) and Kim his wife. Andy & Angie(JeepsR4fun) John Moore(John)Paul(mdcj7). 9 rigs total
We started out on the wrong trail as always and had to turn the whole group around. Then we went down 1a and I took a wrong turn and had to go over a nice rough hill that most made it ok but Jimmy being on 31’s need some help over it but he put up a good try smoked the tires good. Then we ran down to the west side on J trail and took J1 beautiful view of the whole valley. When we landed we went to trail 14 had to get orange crush muddy at this point we went down to trail 19 that keeps getting harder every trip. Then shot over 11 to 11a at that time I was loosing air in my right front tire so Matt, Jason, Tom and Chris headed back to camp to eat lunch with Alpha Omega also Jimmy thought he was running out of gas and his jeep as overheating so he headed back that this time. On the way back Chris had a flat tire. So 4 rigs stayed on the trail to eat lunch and run some more blue and green trails. I had a flat tire also so had to change over to the spare during lunch. Off we went to trail 10 to get some more mud stayed out of the deep holes from there we did trail 13 a lot rougher than I remember but we made it ok. After that we return to the East side and did trail O John More did the red section off of O and did a fantastic job with out any spotting. At this point we met up with the one that went to lunch on Yellow Jacket then Chris was trying to climb a hill that no one has done (as far as we know) this finish up the day and we headed back to load up the rigs and head home.

| It was great to get back on the trails. Having been over a year since my last wheeling trip, I thought I would be a little rusty, but it all came back to me pretty quick. I had fun ( my wife said it didn't suck too bad) and I hope I can make it out with you guys again soon. | |

| It was really great to get out on the trails I hadnt seen for a few years. I really enjoyed running with everyone and the scenery. I got home Sunday and was exhausted after the three days.
Having nine rigs representing the Maryland Rock Raiders was great also..
Paul and Tim, Thanks for leading.. Even with the first two wrong turns we showed team work and got everyone through without damage.
Dont forget the "Mud" you guys got on the Crush... Even with all the ragging I got for the Teflon wax, purdy jeep and not trying the climb Grateful couldnt make I enjoyed everyone's company...
Hope to see everyone of you this weekend................................... | |
