Tire Recycling Empty
PostSubject: Tire Recycling   Tire Recycling EmptyMon Mar 09, 2009 9:43 am

Does anyone know of a company that would come to my farm and pickup a "HUGE" pile of used tires. I am looking to get rid of them as inexpensively as possible. I am also willing to haul them to a tire recycler if I have to.Thanks.

I think the Harford County landfill takes them, you may want to call them.

Q: Where can tires be disposed of?
A: Residents can bring up to five (5) tires per trip to HWDC at no charge if the tires are not on rims or if on rims, $2.00 per tire. Bulk loads of tires hauled by a licensed scrap tire hauler are disposed of at the Waste-to-Energy facility at 1 Magnolia Road. Their telephone number is 410-676-8990 or 410-679-6200.

Its also $4.00 per tire that is over 17". Most of the tires are tractor and large truck tires. I will look for a scrap tire hauling company. There is also a 5 tire per year limit.
