Ditto !!!! Great to wake up to a few inches of snow in Pine Grove!
I think the youngins and Pop's probably caught the "Jeep Bug" this weekend.
Once they got behind the wheel, it was ALL OVER.
Matt new rig "The Curtain" performed very well!
Sorry to see Bleoh's DS blow up......but now it is an excuse to build it bigger!
Thanks to everyone!

I had a blast, as usual. Put the rev limiter to use on a few of those hill climbs. All that ice under the snow made for some fun. I am amazed at what you can do with 31" tires, a rear locker, and a total disregard for your vehicles well being! My front drive shaft let go while working the brake (manual brakes no less) and throttle at the same time trying to get both tires in my open front end to participate. Thanks to Chris and Paul and everyone for helping with the winch line and pulling me back to the parking lot.
I ran some numbers in the Grim Jeeper site. Granny low T18, 4.10s and 37" tires should crawl okay.
Matt, the new rig looked good. I forgot to ask, did you get a chance to try a front dig?
X2 mdcj7, someone post some pics!
Brian.

Had a great time also... Alittle too cold not having a top but that will come with some enginuity........Once the full cage is done than I think I am taking a new set of soft top windows down to the canvas guy and saying "Make it work"...... It is nice not hitting your head on a normal height cage.
Jeep ran great...... Was quite surprised at the power.. The Clayton kit seems amazing also....
Brian, The "Sleeper" performed amazing all day till the weak spot showed its ugly face.. I am always amazed at the CJ...........
and no I didnt try any front digs... besides when I would have it in the wrong setting and holding everyone up behind me..........
I cant wait to get back out again when the snow is gone and we can play on the rocks..
Tom and I ran the Gauntlet at the end of the day and I was quite surprised how the new jeep cruised right thru it...
I will get the pictures I took up tomorrow some time.. Spent too much time today looking for tube fenders and crusher corners... Too many different brands out right now...Not sure which to order..
Thanks for a great trip and I hope Paul Sr keeps the jeep bug and joins us in our Insanity........I couldnt stay away for more than six months.......Chris, Tom, Brian and all the boys, Thanks for a great day......
