BED LINER Empty
PostSubject: BED LINER   BED LINER EmptyTue Sep 07, 2010 10:12 am

Has any one used the roll on bed liner and are there any leasons learned, I am starting out with my CJ7 then to Tim's wagoneer. If I feel comfortable wit it I plan on doing my Truck.

If I end up making a Mess of the Jeeps I will just do a Linux bed liner on the truck

spend the money on the truck with lineX the roll on will not last in the bed but will work in the jeep as a liner. I sprade mine with a harbor freight sprayer. worked well but a lot of time to prep. rolling it you can cut dopwn on prep time.

Paul is deffinatly right about the truck bed. Have it done by a shop. Besides, the lifetime warranty is worth the price. As far as the jeeps go, the roll on stuff isn't terrable, but you get what you pay for. I put it in my 1st CJ7 and it wore off where everybodys feet were after a couple weeks. I ended up gluing down some heavy rubber floor mats to fix it, but that's just because I'm cheap Very Happy

TAke your time taking stuff out and taping. I ended up with 2 or 3 coats with 2 more coats where feet go. If I were to do again theres a few areas I would have taped better.
