So the jeep teardown started yesterday :rockin:
The plan:
* Swap in NV3550 in place of the ax-15
* Take off body
* Put in sye kit
* Get a new rear driveshaft
* Complete blower motor upgrade
* Put in new shackle bushing and body bushings
* Sand down frame rust and repaint ( Frostburg winters are hard on cars)
* Bedline the inside of the jeep
* Sand and repaint the bottom of the Body
* Put on rocker guards
* Put on TJ Flares
* Put on engine skid plate
* Put in new Brake lines
* Figure out if I am going to switch to discs for the rear instead of drums
* Put new shocks on to replace the ones I broke yesterday
* Drill out broken body mount bolt.
I am sure that I am forgetting some things.
So far the body is almost all the way off. The only thing holding it on at the moment is the parking brake cables. That will be changing tommarrow morning though.
Did i mention that I have about two and a half weeks to do this, and build a destruction derby car for August 1st, and work 40 hours a week. Yea, I'm under a little bit of a time crunch
I hope to get some pictures of the progress up soon.
