New Parts Let the Belly Up Begin ! ** New Update **

Some of the parts for my next project have arrived

Brown Dog 1" MML I have to say They have the best customer service I've experianced other than going to Sears in White Marsh . These things are beefy and Freshly made heck the paint is still tacky in some spots. Now I have to wait just a few more days for my 1" Daystar Body Lift to get here from 4wd Hardware.

I received the daystar 1" body lift in today ! :rockin:
Tomorrow or Sat. I'll be installing the Brown Dog motor mount lift, and the body lift . A few days after that I go to Texas till the 19th then I'll finish up my belly up skid, get my driveshaft shortened and my Jeep will be

I have the MML and BL on the Jeep now I need to get bigger tires to fill the gap there's always something I have todo ....... But I need to do an axle swap before I go bigger than 33's ......... I did stumble upon a HD D44 and 9" out of a 78 bronco behind my friends house that he's not using .....

what gear ratio are they be nice if they are 4:10 if you go SUA it will save you some work to stop axle wrap which you get with SOA

The axles at my friends have 3:73's but I would need to get the chopped down to YJ width so I'm thinking about Waggy 44's again if I go that route I'll have some 5.13's , and Lunch box Lockers installed so I'll be properly geared for 35's but that's a project down the road . The wife says find a good reason to upgrade then you have my ok. So in 2 weeks were driving the YJ back to Texas with an undergeared Jeep While I'm down there I'm gonna hit up an Off road park that has a lot of Rocks so if the drive doesn't convince her a broken shaft will.....






Just an update I have the Belly-Up almost done . It should be finished tommorrow . Its not completely flush with the frame like I wanted cause of the way the 231 is cocked . But it just hangs 1in below the frame and it is completely flat . I still managed to gain 2 1/2 inches under the belly pan, 3 1/2 inches if you count the T-case drop I had before I started this project. All that is left is paint and adding some braces to it. As of now it weighs about 2-3 times as much as stock. So its Pure 1/4" Beef :devil:

I got the Belly up skid done with the help of a friend so I'll get some pics up tomorrow. With it bolted up I gained 2.25in over the stock

The only problem I ran into was those nutserts who ever came up with them should be kicked in the nuts by everyone who owns a Jeep I had to drill out 3 of those darn things
