| Yeah I am building for both of them.. NOT......
I just picked up a 01 LS1 with 43,000 miles on it. I know the owner too. Car was totalled. I got the six speed too but I wouldnt want that in a Krawler.. I thought about putting it in the Crush but the 44 or the tranny wouldnt hold the power.

| I will.. I just paid him yesterday and I will pick everything up Tuesday or Wednesday.. This car was spotless and synthetic fluids ran entire life. He put it in the wall at the track.. Second pass the first time the car was ever at the track. Insurance totalled it and he bought everything back for $2500. He has already got that back in driveline parts.
can you check with your buddies to see who does a harness for a LS1 to jeep if I decide to put it in the TJ. Couple places on LS1 tech but I dont know anything about them.

| Is Sears hiring????? Looks like I need to get a job there so I can keep up with you and your Jeep mods! :fingers:
So you are going to put an LS1 under your hood so you can sit there with it idling while Ol' Red tries all the hill climbs
All kidding aside Sounds cool and a great idea (and a lot of work)!!

| Went down today and checked out the pulled motor and tranny.. SWEET is the only word I can use... I didnt get over to Bosley so everything is still up in the air.. MR. Lloyd, there has only been one time that the crush hasnt run what you tried and it was the driver not wanting to tear up the crush not the crush not making it... I guess I will have to let the Crush climb the hill to prove itself.. | |

| Part# 65106 View Manual 0 Review(s) Add A Review Email This Link Previous Page PERFECT Engine Management System - GM-LS1The GM LS1 small block engine is a marvel of engineering and performance. These engines will easily develop 350+ HP and still get 20+ MPG… if you keep your foot out of it. However, one look under the hood and many car builders are too intimidated by all the wire, sensors and computer controls to try this swap. But, with the PERFECT Engine Management System, dropping an LS1 into your project vehicle is easily done without the need of a dyno facility and techno geek. The PERFECT Engine Management System (P/N 65106) comes completely programmed right out of the box. No programming is required if you are installing a stock LS1 engine. We have already done all the dyno work and programming to make the engine install, well, Painless. The ECM has been dyno matched to the stock LS1 engine and will run and drive like it was designed to by GM. We have programmed the ECM for maximum performance and dependability to deliver exceptional power, fuel economy and drivability both when cold starting and after the engine reaches operating temperatures $1078 | |

| Still researching Headers and what to do with the front 44. I think the 9 inch with 35 spline and full spool will hold up for awhile but the 44 isnt gonna hang with the ls1 torque...
This is why I keep thinking about the buggy if I am going this far..............
Still want to buy it Tom???
