Much of a sucessful marriage has to do with finding the right woman; aren't too many "real" women left. Looks like Chris got one of the good ones. (I know, I got one of the best and we are working on our 23rd year)

Even though we found eachother late, I am looking forward to 23+ years!

Both of our sets of parents have been married 42+ years each. AND Chris' parents are marriage counselors...

...so even if we DO end up needing help someday, it's right there in the role models and expertise of our families. Also, I think at this stage, both of us being a year or two shy of 40, we know exactly what we want, what we're looking for and what we will not settle for or tolerate as far as bad behaviours go.

I know you're kidding when you say that stuff, Matt. It wasn't YOU in particular...but just the general population's negative view of marriage. It really gets me riled up. Someone sent my brother a sympathy card when he announced his marriage. He feels the same way I do....so he was a little ticked off, even though he understood the person was trying to be funny. But it's not, really.


Oooops...sorry. I'm ranting.

But thanks again guys. I promise to take care of Chris as he deserves.......and he deserves everything good.
