Green Ridge State Forest-June 19 - 21, 2009

This year, the Middle Atlantic Four Wheel Drive Association is proud to offer to its members and friends a chance for everyone to bring their families to one Maryland's favorite vacation spots known nationally for the variety of outdoor adventures for the extended stay over folks.

If you like the outdoors, then you will love Rocky Gap. This trip will feature a several days of mild to some moderate four wheeling, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, ATV/Motorcycling, site seeing, boating, camping, and etc.

Four Wheeling:

The wheeling will take place at the nearby Green Ridge State Forest. Lunch will be out on the trail.

Camp Grounds:

We will keep our folks within the Dogwood Camping loop at Rocky Gap. It is up to you to make your own reservations and of course, you are not limited to the Weekend for your stay.

The "official" weekend is June 19th, 20th, 21st, of 2009.

Person in charge coordinating this run is Preston Stevens, who will be there with his family; they are looking at departing on Wednesday afternoon of the 17th.

Rocky Gap

You can contact the Green Ridge State Forest for primitive camping sites if the park is full for a few bucks less.

Maryland Rock Raiders will be having their family picnic June 20.......


All members and their families will be invited to a all expense paid picnic where they will eat drink and have family fun..


Not only will they eat and drink free there will be tons of offroad gifts auctioned off.

I dropped the ball today by not getting to the park to find out any info but I did get my jeep done so.............

Orange Crush is growing up real quick.. Grateful Red has someone to play with now... He is even getting a 4 to 1 kit this weekend..



Now if i could just find some money to pay the real bills I will be ok.........
